What's New!

Our wonderful staff

Our team and what a team we have!

Dr Deirdre Clack  - veterinarian extraordinaire.....

Dr Dee

'Dee' is one of the most dedicated and caring professionals you are ever likely to encounter.

Not only is she technically proficient but she manages to keep right up to date with current trends through the Veterinary Information Network despite the demands of her partner Paul and their two beautiful little girls.

It is no surprise that she has a devoted coterie of clients who ask to see her and that is the style of practice we encourage so you can see familiar faces most times.

Leah, our ever effervescent senior nurse…..

Only Leah could wander into our clinic with a lost dog and walk out with an offer of employment as a senior veterinary nurse! Leah

Our nursesAs befitting a former senior nurse at a neighbouring practice Leah brings a wealth of experience and talent with the ability to find the amusing side of almost anything so she keeps the girls in stitches much of the time.

Tied down to part time work by the demands of the lovely Ethan, husband Daniel and Blobby her dog, and now young Brinley born in late January.

Perhaps she will be sufficiently distracted for a while to stop her assailing us with stray kittens and birds!

Worst feature :) Almost impossible to photograph!

Anneli, our ever efficient full time senior nurse.....

After nearly a year  we have Anneli exactly where she wants us to be!

Since breezing in from being head nurse at Blacktown Anneli has established her own inimitable brand of  getting us all organised even when we think we already are reasonably sorted out!

She is owned by three cats - Buffy, a Persian cross (aren't most Persians!), Minx, a 7 Kg Domestic Short Hair (her favourite) and Miles, a Birman (who is not affectionate like Rori ).

Anneli also has Ebony, a 14 year old Cairn Terrier x Dachshund who sounds like a vet's dream in waiting!

Her interests are in snowboarding and the gym, and because she is so talented in all matters veterinary we will let her keep thinking she's the boss!

Megan, our very dedicated full time nurse.....

Megan

Megan and friendMegan has been working with us for quite some time now & many of you have probably come across her. Megan is a dedicated nurse who just loves to cuddle all the animals we have in hospital.

Megan has two cats of her own that she adores. Pinto (full name PintoMuffin) a sweet tabby & white domestic short haired girl whois three year old & Garfield (full name Garfield Mini Lion) who is a 10 month old domestic long haired boy who she adopted as a stray from here after falling head over heals in love at first site!

Megan also has two Cocker Spaniels at home Snoopy and Princess. We are sure if she could Megan would take home every stray that comes through the door, but meanwhile her pets are very spoiled today!

Katie, our newest part time nurse....

Seldom seen without a smile Katie is supplementing her TAFE course with some part time training with us and so far we don't seem to be able to deter her from becoming a full time veterinary nurse!

Katie is owned by moggie called Puss Puss and a kitten called Meow. She's just lost the job of finding distinctive and unusual names for Monika's rescue waifs!

She further owns Gemma a Golden Retriever but her baby is Sally a Maltese cross Silkie.

Being a total masochist and potentially impoverished forever she also has an eventing thoroughbred - Joey Johns and his paddock mate an ex trotter called Black Beauty. No wonder she works! Welcome to our fabulous team!

Judy, our behind the scenes business consultant.....

Judy

Judy, as  a former company director, contributes valuable organisational and financial advice ensuring the smooth running and profitability of the practice.

She has also great empathy with sheep!

Peter, veterinarian of 42 years, business proprietor and

occasional  webmaster -  no, make that weblearner.....

Poita

I have to say I am delighted with our little team who combine great proficiency with great humour and pleasantness to work with. ( I know - a preposition is not a good word to end a sentence with!)

We aim to pass that feeling onto our clients by treating you and your pets with empathy and as friends and not just as a number.Schnoogs at work

We try to run a boutique style practice where you get the highest standards of care but still see the same faces most times when you come in.

Favourite sayings: I own the business but that doesn't mean I know what's going on!

or of Schnoogs: I just keep her there to show that not everything in nature has to be useful!
